A website should look impressive, get found on Google and work hard for your business. I bring together web design, SEO, bespoke development and commercial photography, so you can get the whole project delivered by one person.
The other half is getting it in front of the right people and turning their interest into enquiries or sales. That takes more than a polished design. It takes understanding what your customers search for, creating pages that answer those searches, and making the website easy for Google to crawl and people to use. As a marketer and developer, I consider all of that from the start.
01
Built with Google search in mind
SEO informs the structure of the website before the design is finished. I research the searches that matter to your business, build useful service pages around them and take care of the technical foundations. Once the site is live, search data can guide further improvements to its content and visibility.
02
Design that turns attention into action
Your website needs to explain the offer, show why someone should trust you and make the next step clear. I bring together layout, copy, mobile usability and performance around that journey, whether the goal is an enquiry, a booking or a purchase.
03
Bespoke admin dashboards and business software
I can build the tools behind your website as well as the pages customers see. That could mean an admin dashboard, a system for managing information or bespoke software built around your workflow. We’ll scope the features and integrations around how your business actually operates.
04
Online shops, from storefront to administration
I can set up an online shop and develop the functionality around it: product pages, checkout, order management and the administration your team needs. The Porsche Aberdeen lifestyle shop brings together that customer-facing design and the dashboard behind it.
05
Photography, content and development in one place
My photography background includes work for Lexus UK and Toyota UK, plus stock and event photography during my full-time role at Porsche Aberdeen, where I still work freelance. I’ve also taken over 30,000 images for Collecting Cars and Car & Classic. That means I can plan and photograph your business, write the content, design and build the website, and support its marketing. You don’t need to coordinate a separate photographer, designer, developer and marketer.
Relevant experience
From a café website to a shop and dashboard.

The Porsche Aberdeen lifestyle shop shows how I bring website design and bespoke software together: the customer-facing storefront and the administration dashboard behind it. The dashboard shows stock and orders; the figures and customer names in the screenshot are demonstration data, not trading results.
The Drive at Haddo
A website for the automotive-themed café and restaurant on the Haddo Estate near Ellon. The site gives visitors a place to explore the café, its menu and events, and find the business.
We’ll look at your business, customers and the searches you want to appear for. Then we’ll agree the website structure, functionality, photography, content and a project quote.
Design and build
I’ll bring the design, content, photography and development together, including any agreed shop or admin features. You’ll review the working website directly with me.
Launch and improve
We’ll check the site before launch and agree hosting, handover and search monitoring. Ongoing SEO, content improvements and marketing can then be scoped around what the business needs.
Before we start.
Will a new website automatically rank on Google?
No. A new design alone won’t secure a ranking. I build the site around relevant searches, useful content and sound technical foundations. Visibility also depends on competition, your business’s reputation and continued work after launch. We’ll agree what SEO is included and what ongoing support makes sense.
Can you handle the whole website project?
Yes. I can provide the strategy, design, copy, commercial photography, development and SEO work, with one point of contact throughout. We’ll agree exactly what your project includes, along with any external services such as hosting or payment processing.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes. I take on freelance website projects alongside my marketing role. A straightforward business website is just as valid a brief as an online shop; the scope depends on what you actually need.
Can you improve my existing website?
Yes. I can review what you have and discuss whether focused changes or a rebuild make more sense. Access to the current site and its platform will determine what is practical.
Can I update the website myself?
If you need to edit content, products or other information, we’ll include that in the brief and agree an appropriate editing system and handover. It isn’t something you need to work out after launch.
How much will my website cost?
I quote for the agreed scope. The number of pages, content, photography, shop features and custom functionality all affect the work involved. Send me a short brief and I’ll talk through the options.
Do you only build websites for Aberdeen businesses?
I’m based in Aberdeen and work with businesses across Aberdeenshire. I’m also available for projects elsewhere in Scotland and can work remotely with clients further afield.
